There was some kind of holographic projector, a small one, in the vicinity that Jarvis was able to detect. Without hesitation, he connects with it, the communicating device giving it's signal. When (or if) the soldier answers, there's a man with a suit who's projected.

"I do not appreciate being referred to as a 'scrapheap' ARC Trooper 5555." Only Jarvis could be miffed when he was in danger like this. At least now he could get a look at where the trooper was at.
